Crafting is an excellent hobby to pick up, so we’re going to share with you a few tips for interesting and realtively easy to make DYI projects.
Wine and glass carrier – You can create this amazing item by heading for your home depot and purchased a square block of you wood (20cmx20cm). Then grab a saw and create one centimetre wide and three centimetres deep nooks on each corner of the wooden block. Next use a hole-saw and drill a hole in the middle of the block. End the project by applying a layer of protective coating on both sides of the wooden block and allow it to dry. When done, hang four glasses in each hook and pass the bottles neck through the hole so that you can use it as a handle. By having this simple and helpful item in your home you won’t have to do two trips to bring wine and glasses to your guests. Don’t worry about the wooden particles as you can use professional rubbish removal services to clear them.
Reading area with a bench – If you have recently replaced your bed with a new one don’t throw away the old headboard. Instead use it to create a comfy bench which you can place in your reading area. Attach a wide wooden plank to the headboard and mount to legs underneath the front side of the plank. Then paint your new handmade piece of furniture in a colour that will match the overall scheme of the room and allow it to dry before you put it in place.
Crafting table – You don’t have to spend a large amount of money to create a crafting table for your child. Instead convert one of your old kitchen cabinets. Start the project by adding legs to the backside of the cabinetry. Then use sandpaper to remove the old paint and prepare it for a new paint job. Choose a neutral colour that won’t affect the mood of your infant and make sure that you apply at least two layers of paint. Add a final touch by mounting a blackboard on the top side of the cabinet door, so that you child can draw and have fun. Don’t be timid to use professional rubbish removal services to clear the accumulate garbage during the building process.
Storage chest – Storage chests can be quite expensive, especially if they are made from solid wood. So, why don’t you create your own by using a pair of old suit cases? Just add four legs under each suit case and voila, you will have your own, stylish storage chests which you can keep at the foot of your bed and store your linens.
Jewellery holder – Gut the inside of an old book and add a lock on the front and back covers and create your own jewellery holder where you can store your shiny items. If you don’t want to ruin a book you can use one of the following items instead:
